Anna Gunn is an American actress. Anna Gunn is an American actress. She also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and was awed by acting during her time at the Preparatory School. The late 70's, she and her family moved to Ohio. She attended the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna was a part of a couple of seasons in Chicago theater before transitioning to television and film. In 1992 Anna was offered her first big part in the role of Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. In the early 90s she was a frequent guest in TV and film, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. Skyler is her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully and Deadwood was also an integral an integral part of her professional acting career. Gunn was a part of David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production produced by David Schwimmer. She also appeared in the four-part podcast audio drama Numbered days, which was released in 2022. The relationship with Walter White and his wife Skyler is usually the main focus of the narrative of Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and eventually its demise mirroring the same arc of Walter White's final years of life.
